Description

This family estate sits in the foothills of the Pyrenees and is a perfect example of the modern dynamism of the sunny south of France. In the winery, there is a very French lead but with South African and English influences too. Incredible wines and fantastic value.

The wines we sell don’t come off a never-ending production line, so there is always a tiny chance that one of the wines in the curated cases drops out of stock. If this happens, we will replace the missing wine with one of similar style and always a higher value; we don’t want you to lose out here.

What's inside?

‘Flying Solo’ Grenache Blanc Viognier

A brilliant pale yellow colour with silver highlights. The nose opens with fresh aromas of pear and white flowers such as almond blossom. The palate is ripe and generous, with flavours of pear and white peach, underpinned by delicate acidity. The finish has hints of grapefruit zest, offering freshness and balance..

‘Sphere’ Viognier

An intense, golden colour with silver highlights which immediately catches the eye. The nose reveals aromas of dried apricot and orange zest, adding a lovely freshness. On the palate is a citrus attack of mainly blood orange, before ending with a refreshing finish, marked by a mineral touch that prolongs the tasting..

‘Flying Solo’ Grenache Syrah

A deep, intense purple colour that catches the eye at first sight. The nose reveals a basket of ripe fruit: red plum, blackberry, blackcurrant jam, with a touch of freshness provided by redcurrant and liquorice notes. A generous explosion of red fruit softens the mellow but still structured tannins, giving the wine depth and persistence.

‘Sphere’ Grenache

A deep garnet colour with violet highlights. The nose opens with beautiful cherry and strawberry, accompanied by subtle floral notes of violet. The palate is rich and juicy, with a velvety texture that unfolds a beautiful freshness. Fruity aromas blend harmoniously with hints of spice, particularly pepper, and fine tannins that add structure. The finish is long and persistent, with a hint of acidity.

‘Petite Villa’ Minervois la Liviniere

100% Syrah, this wine is big and bold but also hedonistically velvet smooth. The balance of power and grace is truly special. ‘La Liviniere’ is the premier cru of the Minervois region, and this wine shows just why. A very special and very, very wonderful wine.

Chemin de Moscou

The name originates from the old meeting place for the village, the Moscow tree. The vineyards sit on the ‘Road to Moscow’ and are planted to a mix of Syrah, Grenache and Cinsault. This is a brooding, intoxicating and seriously engaging bottle of wine, all smoky depth and rich, rustic charm. Multi-award-winning, and the wine that first gained my attention from this now legendary property.
