Not all Rioja wines are equal and the region covers a multitude of styles and quality levels. Bodegas Palacio are at the very top of the tree when it comes to quality and own one of the very few ‘singular vineyards’ where the vines are over 100 years old. They are a member of the elite ‘Bodegas Centenarias of La Rioja’ but they mix this rich history and traditon with a constant push for innovation and quality.

We’ll be tasting white and red wines from Glorioso which is the more mainstream part of their operation and then delving in to the delights of Cosme Palacio where small production and an incredible eye for detail have helped to create some of the most respected wines in La Rioja. If you think you know Rioja, then be prepared to think again.
